Retrofit Sales Specialist

Key Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to promote sales growth and lead generation working alongside Applications Engineer, and Administrator that comprise the Retrofit/Upgrades Team.

• Generate new business for Retrofits and Upgrades with existing customer base.

• Visiting customer sites to assess viability of retrofitting or upgrading existing equipment

• Identify and market to existing customers via cold calling, email campaigns, and other marketing/sales

techniques.

• Work with Company Marketing team to develop appropriate marketing collateral for target markets.

• Develop customer specific marketing collateral (email campaigns, etc. based on Company standards).

• Report on all activities via the Company Salesforce process and procedures.

• Meet sales targets.

• Operate within the Company's ethics and principles.

• Up to 50% Travel (customer site visits).

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Reports directly to the Internal Support Service Manager

 

Skills and Require Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related technical field required.

• 3+ years of experience selling, preferably packaging machinery preferred. Industry adjacent sales experience considered.

• Strong sales skills including prospecting, emailing campaigns, lead generation, organization and professionalism.

• Proven ability to work effectively with an array of cross-functional teams across the company and enterprise and to build supportive and constructive relationships within and outside of the organization; ability to take the lead in inspiring others to work together for mutual benefit and in influencing decision-making across functions/departments.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the aptitude to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings to diverse audiences.

• Proven ability to deliver timely, accurate work product and demonstrate good follow up and follow through.

• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making.

• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-o­ obstacles.

• Experienced user with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT, Salesforce, etc.)

Compensation
