Green electricity
We cover a significant proportion of our power requirements with our photovoltaic system. However, during the “darker” months or during peak loads, in-house production is not always sufficient. We felt it was especially crucial to use exclusively renewable energy to meet the additional demand.
In cooperation with SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern GmbH, we therefore decided to purchase 100 % green electricity. The guarantees of origin for this green electricity originate from sustainable systems that meet stringent environmental criteria and are connected to the European power grid. They comply with the certified ÖKOSTROM criteria catalog of KlimaInvest Green Concepts GmbH.

Tax incentives for research support companies regardless of size, legal form and sector in their research activities. Research and development projects from the following categories are eligible:

For us, the research allowance is a critical component in attaining our goals.

With this achievement, Wipotec has managed to be an innovative pioneer for the energy transition for three consecutive years. With photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, geothermal energy, waste heat and rainwater heat exchangers, CO2 emissions have been reduced by 97 %.
