Mayor Weichel on Ecotour at Wipotec
Insights into our ecological commitment
Sustainability is a frequently discussed hot topic and this is not just a recent phenomenon. At Wipotec, however, our actions have been speaking for themselves. Our central production site in Kaiserslautern, for example, meets 85% of its needs from its own alternative energy sources.
During an ecotour, the Lord Mayor of Kaiserslautern and his delegation gained insights into our ecological commitment. We proudly presented our solar park, which we operate for our power generation, as well as our geothermal energy plant, with which we generate geothermal energy for heating and cooling our production halls and office buildings.
