Glass containers and cans: Optimum inspection of base and lid area with Wipotec Dual View
In an interview with Hasan Uygul, Director Global Sales for Product Inspection Systems, Dr. Michael Siegrist, Product Manager X-ray, presents the Dual View technology of Wipotec X-ray inspection systems. Dual View solves the sidewall and bottom issues with optical paths parallel to the lid and bottom for both glass containers and cans. In the video, Dr. Siegrist demonstrates that you can also inspect the base when the can has a pull-tab. These no longer present an obstacle to foreign object inspection. A further advantage is that the Dual View technology of Wipotec also allows accurate detection of the product fill level.
